A True Story
The beautiful lady in this picture is Mrs Jayalakshmi, my mother’s older sister. She was married way back in the 1940’s to a doctor. She had no children and in those days fertility management was incomparable to what it is today. Investigations were largely absent and treatment was grossly inadequate. In India, not having a child was an unacceptable disgrace. My aunt as a consequence of this developed serious depression. She often asked my mother – her kid sister who was then training to become a doctor whether she could adopt her first child ( myself ). Unfortunately, she died of blood cancer at the young age of 34, long before I was even born. I have always dreamed of starting a fertility centre in her memory. Jananam is dedicated to her only desire in life – a child. I have written these words for her which are the focal point at Jananam.
Our journey began with a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by seniors, inspiring us to create a compassionate and dedicated service that addresses their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About Dr.Vani

Dr. Vani dreamed of starting a fertility centre from a very young age in memory of her aunt who suffered severe depression due to childlessness. And with this dream and unwavering intent, she carved out a career in the field of infertility which reached further heights when she started Jananam Fertility Centre.
In the course of her career, she has managed to touch the lives of many childless couples across various age groups. Not stopping at her medical degrees, she constantly updates herself with new technologies that come up, which is visible in the various methods of assisted reproduction that Jananam offers. Her obsession with cleanliness and hygiene can be seen throughout the hospital and in the certified cleanroom labs. Her vast experience led to her handling of various types of infertility cases which has further helped her diagnose and treat patients effectively.
Infertility treatment can be stressful and often filled with uncertainty and clinical expertise alone wouldn’t help. And this is where her genial and patient personality contributes further to her success rates.
