Description
The term “ovarian reserve” refers to the number of eggs present in a woman’s ovary. Lower egg numbers may be indicative of infertility. Egg numbers reduce with age from 400,000 at puberty to 1000 at menopause. Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) presents no symptoms in most women apart from a shortened menstrual cycle from 28 to 25 days. Be aware of your ovarian reserve. Be Pro-active, be safe.
