Every couple starts with a full evaluation, so the plan fits you rather than a package.
- IVF: eggs and sperm are combined in our clean-room lab and the strongest embryo is transferred.
- ICSI and PICSI: a single selected sperm is injected into each egg, often advised for low sperm count.
- IUI: a simpler first step, with prepared sperm placed in the uterus around ovulation.
- Frozen embryo transfer: embryos are frozen and transferred in a later, better-prepared cycle.
- Male infertility: semen analysis, low sperm count treatment, TESA and PESA sperm retrieval, and sperm freezing.
- Egg and embryo freezing: preserving fertility for later, before treatment or by choice.

Who plans your treatment.
Dr Vani Sundarapandian practised in the United Kingdom before opening Jananam in Chennai in 2013, to give couples fertility care that is comprehensive, competent, compassionate and ethical. She holds a Master's in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales, and is a member of ISAR, ESHRE and FOGSI.
The same specialist reads every tracking scan and reviews each cycle with you, including couples whose treatment elsewhere did not work.

How much does IVF cost at Jananam?
The cost depends on the protocol, the medicines and the tests you need. After your first consultation we give you a clear written estimate, so there are no surprises.
What should we bring to the first visit?
Any previous reports: hormone tests, scans, semen analysis and details of earlier treatments. Both partners should ideally attend.
Do we always need IVF?
No. Many couples start with simpler options such as ovulation induction or IUI. The doctor recommends IVF only when your tests suggest it gives you the best chance.

Yes. Bring your previous cycle details, and Dr Vani will review what happened before planning your next step.
What are your timings?
Neelankarai is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and closed on Sunday. Thiruporur opens an hour later, at 10am.
