Dual stimulation for low egg reserve

Dual stimulation (DuoStim) at Jananam Fertility Centre, Chennai, means two ovarian stimulations and two egg collections in one menstrual cycle.

Egg freezing

Egg freezing at Jananam Fertility Centre, Neelankarai, Chennai, collects and vitrifies your eggs so you can use them in IVF later.

Embryo freezing

Embryo freezing (vitrification) at Jananam Fertility Centre, Neelankarai, Chennai, stores IVF embryos in liquid nitrogen at minus 196°C for a later frozen transfer.

Fertility preservation before cancer treatment

Fertility preservation before cancer treatment means freezing eggs, embryos or sperm before chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery that may harm fertility.

Frozen embryo transfer

At Jananam Fertility Centre, Chennai, a frozen embryo transfer is usually done around day 18 to 22 of your cycle. Preparation starts on day 2 or 3 of your period.

ICSI and PICSI

ICSI injects one sperm directly into each egg. PICSI (Physiological ICSI) is ICSI in which the sperm is first picked by its ability to bind hyaluronic acid.

IUI

IUI (intrauterine insemination) at Jananam Fertility Centre, Chennai, places washed sperm inside the womb around ovulation.

IVF

IVF treatment in Chennai at Jananam Fertility Centre, Neelankarai: eggs are collected after 8 to 12 days of injections, fertilised in our on-site lab, and an embryo is placed in the womb.

Ovarian stimulation

Ovarian stimulation at Jananam Fertility Centre, Chennai, uses tablets or daily injections to help eggs mature. For IUI the aim is one or two follicles; for IVF, several.

Ovulation induction

Ovulation induction at Jananam Fertility Centre, Chennai, uses tablets such as letrozole, taken for a few days early in the cycle, to help one egg mature and release.

Sperm freezing

Sperm freezing stores a semen sample in liquid nitrogen for use later in IUI, IVF or ICSI.

TESA, PESA and surgical sperm retrieval

TESA and PESA are day procedures that collect sperm with a fine needle from the testis (TESA) or the epididymis (PESA) when a semen sample has none.
